On a dedicated website, participants could choose from among 57 style and color elements, including cases, bracelets, straps, bezels, dials, markers and hands. Everyone logging on to the site could then vote on all contenders, with the winner in each of four regions (Japan, the Americas, Asia and Europe) to be available in a limited production run of 1,968, with the serial number engraved on each special 55th Anniversary Limited Edition screwdown see-through caseback. Top place for Europe, this dynamic watch features a bold orange sunray dial with day/date calendar, red second hand, and luminous hands and markers, framed by a black uni-directional rotating bezel ring with silver and red accents.
