Roland and Jeanette Brinker founded Brinker’s Jewelers in 1972 to provide quality products and personalized service to their community. Three generations and forty-five years later, the Brinker family continues with the same dedication.

To celebrate our 45th year in business, we wanted to find out firsthand why our customers continue to choose Brinker’s Jewelers.

Q: How did you discover Brinker’s Jewelers?

Perri: I’ve always had a love for jewelry and just found Brinker’s on my own. I’ve been going there for years. I go there for everything —jewelry, watches, and even for servicing and repairs.

It’s a peace of mind knowing when you take them a repair, it never leaves the store and everything is done on-site. Brinker’s really has the best of all worlds right here in Evansville.

Jim: I’ve been going to Brinker’s since 1999, the year I picked out my wife’s engagement ring. I’ll never forget Dean Brinker’s level of enthusiasm during that experience. He insisted that the two of us step outside so I could see the beauty of the stone in the sunlight. I really admired Dean’s concern with customer satisfaction and my wife’s satisfaction. He was engaged, involved, and very enthusiastic.

Q: What keeps you coming back?

Perri: You feel important when you walk in — they make you feel special and not like just another customer. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! I always shop with Barb (a Brinker’s sales associate) — she’s so great and her attention to detail is second to none. They always go above and beyond with their customer service and have such a high level of class and professionalism.

Jim: I travel all over the world for work and even when I’m visiting all these different cities and jewelers, when I come across something I like, I’ll just take a photo of it and bring it back to Brinker’s Jewelers because I know they can recreate anything and that I’m getting the best quality.

Q: What’s your most memorable experience at Brinker’s Jewelers?

Perri: I’ve bought many antique and estate pieces from Brinker’s — they know how much I love antique jewelry. One day I came in to pick up a repair, and Barb and Dean brought out a green box and asked me to open it. It was a beautiful antique pendant! It’s a piece I will always cherish because it was such a wonderful and thoughtful surprise to me. They just blew me away and know me so well. I wear it all the time.

Jim: I’ve had countless memorable experiences there that are just over the top … over the moon even. But I took my wife’s engagement ring back recently to have it upgraded. They took the stone out of the setting and refashioned it with a new setting and increased the number of smaller diamonds. It’s always a conversation starter no matter where we go.

Q: If you had to sum your experience up with Brinker’s in a few words or less, what would you say?

Perri: Wonderful. They’ve just been so wonderful to me over the years!

Jim: Trust, quality, and the service you receive even after the sale — they just have an aura of trust.
