Great Characters Rollerball Pen Walt Disney Special Edition

The name Walt Disney is forever bound to the art of film animation and American movie history. An empire of unimaginable proportions grew out of his initial idea to perfect the technique of making cartoons. Born in 1901 in Chicago, Walter Elias Disney became one of the most influential and revered film producers of his time, thanks to his pioneering spirit, inventive ability, and limitless creativity. The overall shape of the Walt Disney Rollerball Pen is inspired by the legendary Disney World Monorail system, while red and yellow bands of color reference the original poster from the iconic “Steamboat Willy” cartoon, which depicted Mickey Mouse in the first Disney carton with synchronized sound in 1920. The precious resin cap and barrel in matte black feature several hidden Mickeys, and the signature of Walt Disney can be found on the cap top. A set of coordinates engraved on the pen’s cone give the location of the garage belonging to Walt Disney’s uncle, where brothers Walt and Roy O. Disney constructed their first animation camera stand. This one-of-a-kind writing instrument is the perfect commemoration of a one-of-a-kind dreamer.
