DEAN POWELL JOINS BRINKERS JEWELERS AS A CERTIFIED WATCHMAKER
Family-owned business is the only jewelry store in Southern Indiana to have an in-house Certified Watchmaker
EVANSVILLE, Indiana - September 28, 2009- Brinker's Jewelers announces the addition of Dean Powell in the role of Certified Watchmaker. With his role, Powell will be responsible for all in-house watch repairs, including Rolex.
In addition to graduating from the intensive two year program at the prestigious Lititz Watch Technicum, Powell holds a CW21 from the American Watchmakers Clockmakers Institute (AWCI) and is certified by WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational Program). Following graduation Powell participated in the Rolex Apprenticeship Program, an extensive program that involves all aspects of Rolex service and shop management. As part of one of the most intensive watch training programs in the industry, Powell also trained at the Rolex factory located in Geneva, Switzerland.

"The knowledge Dean brings to the table, especially with Rolex repair, will elevate the level of service Brinker's Jewelers can provide not only to Evansville, but all of Indiana."
Powell began work on August 31, 2009, and will eventually be working in a brand new state-of-the art repair department. This unique workshop is enclosed in glass, which makes it possible to view the watchmaker as he performs his craft. The Swiss designed service area will be fully equipped with the latest in tooling and diagnostic equipment.
